Effective Immediately - West Oso Junior High School Campus to Move to Remote Learning Only on Thursday, January 14, 2021, Until Further Notice

On the evening of Wednesday, January 13, 2021, our offices learned of a COVID-19 positive case at West Oso Junior High School. Based on recent updates regarding the coronavirus (COVID-19) and out of an abundance of caution, West Oso ISD has made the decision to move West Oso Junior High School to remote learning beginning Thursday, January 14, 2021, and until further notice.

We will notify parents this evening via campus robocall and social media about school closures for all West Oso ISD campuses. We will also provide a press release to local news stations regarding this notification.

West Oso ISD’s number one priority is the safety of our students, staff, and families. We have a commitment to follow the guidelines required by the CDC, local, and state officials. We will clean and sanitize the West Oso Junior High School campus immediately.

We will continue to monitor and follow all health and safety COVID-19 protocols. We encourage all staff to follow these protocols and monitor themselves and their students closely for any sign of potential illness related to COVID-19.

Thank you for your continued support as we work diligently to provide a safe school for our staff and students.
